Empirical algorithm of auto A/C cooling capacity

The capacity of refrigerating machine should be determined on the basis of auto body’s heat load when selecting the air conditioning unit for automobile. But in daily works, it often cannot make a careful calculation because the time is short, or because of the uncertain factors in automobile manufacturing, there are some different between the calculation results and actual situation. Therefore, we often make empirical algorithm in the design of new automobiles.

 

The cooling capacity of an air conditioning unit shall be the cooling capacity under a certain standard condition. In different countries or different manufacturers, the standard conditions are not the same, so even if the air conditioners are designed with same structure and properties, their cooling capacity is not the same. When choose an air conditioner, we should pay special attention about it. Japan and China are prescribed nominal cooling capacity of air conditioning unit is made in the following conditions: the ambient air dry bulb temperature is 35±1, the in car air dry bulb temperature is 27±1, the wet bulb temperature is 19.5±0.5, speed of compressor is 1800r/min. The cooling capacity of air conditioner with different working conditions is not easy to compare with each other.
